Spending the day with the Naftels and the Adams Families was such a pleasure. There is nothing like taking a part in the simcha of people with the potential to build worlds with the energy they can now invest in one another.

It could not have been a more beautiful day for this afternoon wedding on the Lower East Side of Manhattan’s Chasam Sopher Shul. The sun was shining and everyone was enjoying the beautiful scenery, though maybe a few degrees less heat would have been slightly more comfortable. A beautiful second marriage, the “kids” were a big part of their day, and could not have added more fun to their parent’s simcha.

Michael & Fallon’s wedding was one of our most memorable. We took a road trip to Detriot to be with them, driving through the night on the i-80. There weren’t any flights early enough before their Sunday wedding, and we didn’t want to miss it for the world. (But don’t ask us for another midnight ride, it was a one-time-deal!). The wedding was in a beautiful setting, with a couple surrounded by their loved ones. Their Brothers. Sisters. Their best friends. A lot of laughter and goofing off, this day was perfectly them.

Before they started on their world travels, we had the opportunity to catch Elchonon & Shaina while they were still and photograph their wedding. They have journeyed back to England and just as soon as Pesach ends they will be off to Sanhedria in Jerusalem where they’ll be planting the seeds for their future.
